Method one: if you have received an invitation from a Bits republic User, then that individual has set you up with an account in order to share files in their Workspace. That email contains the Workspace name and your username. Your friend will have contacted you with the temporary password they set you up with. All you need to do is follow the link to establish your account.
 
Method Two: If you have not received an invitation, but are here on your own, you are welcome to establish your own Workspace and account, and invite others in to share files with you. To get started, visit this page.

 
The next step is to get used to the Bits Republic file sharing applications that provide complete privacy and security 'through the cloud' (over the Internet). You are free to use MOB Pro, MOnet, or both applications:
 
MOB Pro enables you to sync files in your desktop, pc, or server with other users in your Workspace, eliminating the security risk inherent in swapping files back and forth, the nuisance of manually keeping track of which is the current version, and the duplication of files across several systems (your workflow is perfectly preserved). Alternately, you can use MOnet. Monet runs through your web browser to allow you to securely upload and share a library of files from anywhere. You can access MOnet here, or from the login button on the top right of all Bits Republic website pages.

In MOB Pro, click on 'create account', from which you can either import users from Outlook, or enter users directly.
 
In MOnet, click on 'Invite Users' in the 'My Workspace' tab to set them up.

Whichever method you use, once you set up a new user, they will receive an email with their Username and the name of the Workspace identified. You will need to contact them separately in order to explain the initial password you have set up for them in order for them to access that Workspace and begin uploading and sharing files.
