Minimum Hardware Requirements

·         1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit processor

·         At least 128 MB system memory (RAM)


Minimum Software Requirements

·         OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008

·         .NET 2.x (this will be automatically installed if it is not present)

·         Internet connectivity to send and receive documents


Installation

Local administrator rights are required for installation. Please contact your IT department to ensure that you have such rights.

1.       Download the application from www.bitsrepublic.com to your PC.

2.       Click Run when asked what to do with the download. The program will then install.
Click Run, Install and Next several times to install the required components.

3.     A MOnet Desktop Integration icon will appear on your desktop.
The program is now successfully installed.

4.      Double click on the MOnet Desktop Integration icon to start it up. You will be prompted to enter
three items which will be provided by Bits Republic Technologies or your IT department:

a) Your organization name
b) Your username
c) Your password

Account Creation

Before sharing files with your clients, create a client by clicking on Create Account. Enter the clients e-mail address and enter a password. To ensure password security, we recommend a password with at least one upper case character and one number.

Once an account has been created, MOnet Desktop Integration will automatically send an e-mail to your client with the user name and installation instructions.  Please contact the client separately with the password.

File Management
 Send a File

1.       Click on Send File

2.       Click on Browse and navigate to the file

3.       Click OK

4.       Enter the client e-mail address in the User Name box

5.       Enter a File Group. The file group is a directory that facilitates file management on
MOnet Desktop Integration. It can be your project name, matter number, case number or your client
name. Files are sorted under a file group within MOnet Desktop Integration.

6.       Click on Send.



Receive a File

1.       MOnet Desktop Integration automatically indicates when a file has been received or click the Refresh button

2.       Click on the file link to view it


 
Update a File

1.       In MOnet Desktop Integration click on the file link and open it to view the file contents.

2.       Edit the file as necessary

3.       Save the file

4.       MOnet Desktop Integration will indicate that the file has been updated

5.       Right click on the file and select Update

If several files have been uploaded at the same time, MOnet Desktop Integration will give you the
option to cancel your update or overwrite your colleagues files with your update.
Delete a File



Delete a File

1.       In MOnet Desktop Integration click on the file link

2.       Click Delete




Address Book

The address book lists all users in your Bits Republic Workspace.
